My interview with Kaidan!!


Hi Kaidan. Thank you so much for being here today! If I see your father, I will spray him with
my pink canister of pepper spray. I hope you don’t mind. Anyway, I have a few questions I’d like
to ask you, if that’s okay.

Amber: Your sin has to do with one of human’s more basic instincts. Lust is one of the few sins
that exploits an instinct that both humans and animals have, so I have to ask you this.
What animal do you feel best represents your personality?
Kaidan: I’d say a panther.

Amber: What about Anna? What animal does she remind you of?
Kaidan: A bitty bunny rabbit.

Amber: What are your favorite foods?
Kaidan: I like all foods, but I’m quite taken by the American hamburger at the moment.

Amber: If you could trade sins with one of the other nephs for a day, which sin would you choose
and why?
Kaidan: I’d never trade, but I suppose if I MUST I’d choose to be a son of Jezebet, Duke of Lies—
essentially a human lie detector.

Amber: If you had only one day left to live, were completely free from the dukes’ control, and
money was no object, where would you go and what would you do?
Kaidan: I’ve been many beautiful places in my life, but never to Venice. Water streets? How
wicked is that? I’d see the whole old city and eat all day...not alone, of course...

Amber: You’re a musician, so I assume that music is an important part of your life. What song
reminds you of Anna?
Kaidan: "Bring Me To Life" by Evanescence

Amber: When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Kaidan: I took to music very early and was glad to be able to pursue it. My father attempted
steering me toward life in a boy-band, a path that would reach many innocents, but I was able to
persuade him to let me have a go at the drums.

Amber: What is one thing that Anna does that completely gets under your skin (in either a good
way or a bad way)?
Kaidan: She rarely gets angry or stays angry more than a passing moment. It’s admirable and
irritating at once.

Amber: After meeting Anna, was it hard to continue working as you had been?
Kaidan: It’s not something I like discussing, but yes, I admit she mucked with my thoughts about
everything, including my work.

Amber: Can you play any instruments other than the drum?
Kaidan: I also play guitar—acoustic and electric—but it’s not something many people know.

Amber: Okay, now I have some short answer questions for you:

Hot or cold? Hot
Day or night? Night
Dogs or cats? Dogs
Coffee or tea? Coffee
Books or movies? Ha. Movies.

Amber: Thank you so much, Kaidan! I hope things work out for you.
Kaidan: My pleasure, luv. And by all means, have a go at my father with the pepper spray.
